SCHOOL ACCREDITATION INFORMATION
St. Sava Serbian Orthodox School of Theology is licensed to operate and grant degrees by the State of Illinois and the Illinois Board of Higher Education.
In September of 2022, we began an official process of seeking full institutional and program accreditation with Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The entire process is expected to take several years, during which our School will undergo evaluations, self-reflection, changes, standardization, and most importantly: development and healthy growth.
We will be issuing regular updates on where we are in the process, what has been accomplished, and what the next steps are.
By the decisions of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church (S.O.C.) and St. Sava Serbian Orthodox School of Theology, Rev. Hierodeacon Methodios (Pranic) has been appointed as the Commissioner for Accreditation on behalf of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the S.O.C., and as a School Liaison by the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox School of Theology.
If you have any questions regarding the accreditation process, kindly email us at accreditation@stsava.org.
