On October 29, the faculty and students of St. Sava's had the privilege of welcoming Professor Dr. Ranko Rajović, a renowned specialist in internal medicine, neurophysiology, and sports sciences. Professor Rajović is also a UNICEF associate focused on early education and the creator of the innovative NTC learning system, which emphasizes integrating cognitive development with play.
During his lecture, Professor Rajović shared deep insights into the functioning of the child's brain. He introduced unique methods to enhance thinking and learning through playful activities, underscoring the critical role that play has in cognitive development. His presentation was both informative and interactive, engaging students and faculty alike with thought-provoking questions and challenges that stimulated a dynamic exchange of knowledge. This interactive approach fostered a collaborative learning environment, encouraging participants to share their thoughts and experiences.
Particularly noteworthy was Professor Rajović's focus on guiding our students as future religious educators, parents, and pastors.
